So if you remember my post from earlier last week you know I was debating on which workout program I was going to use.  With the help of my God daughter and my love of GREAT music I chose Turbo Fire by Chalene Johnson!  I am super excited and I have seen the song list for each Turbo Fire routine and I know I will be sweating and jamming to so awesome music while doing the workouts!

I will be following the 9 week Prep Schedule before going into the HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workout class schedule. HIIT Firedrills are so intense that you may need to work up to them and that is what Chalene suggests so thats what I am going to do.  After the 9 weeks you go into a 20 week class schedule.

One of the things that sets this program apart is what they call the “after burn”  you will keep burning fat up to 48 hours after you worked out and if you are following your schedule that means you are pretty much burning fat 24/7 !

The thing with this program and any other for that matter is you need to know when to say when. When your body has had enough so that you avoid injury. I start Turbo fire April 1,2013 so I will keep you posted on my progress!
